Hedley

Hedley was made in Vancouver Canada. It first started with Jacob Hoggard who made it to the finals in Canadian Idol in 2004. Although he was voted off he still had a lot of fans. So the following year he formed the band Hedley with guitarist Dave Rosin, bassist Tommy Mac, and drummer Chris Crippin, all of whom previously teamed in the Vancouver band Everything After. They produced a self-titled album and had the hit songs On My Own, Trip and 321. However the band's popularity didn't go to U.S. So they made the albums Famous Last Words in October 2007 and The Show Must Go in 2009.

Ne-Yo

Ne-yo's original name is Shaffer Smith. He was born and raised in a single parent family in Arkansas on October 18 1982. Ne-Yo is a singer and song writer. His first major accomplishment was the song he wrote Let Me Love You which was performed by Mario. This song went up the charts and made Billboard's #1 in R&B for several weeks. He released his first album in 2006 called In My Own Words and reached the top of the charts with the song So Sick. In the same year he had a hand in writting two top ten hits: Beyonce's Irreplaceable and Rihanna's Unfaithful. In May 2007 Ne-Yo released his second album Because Of You and reached number 1 in the Billboard top 200. The following year the album Year Of The Gentleman was issued after writting some more great songs like Rihanna's Take A Bow and Jennifer Hudson's Spotlight. With the songs Closer, Miss Independant and Mad his album Year Og The Gentleman went platinum just like his first two albums. Ne-Yo didn't release another album till 2010 with Libra Scale. An album that was inspired by Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson's most ambitious recordings.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park

Linkin Park (one of my first favourite bands) started out with just three people, Drummer Rob Bourdon, guitarist Brad Delson, and MC/vocalist Mike Shinoda. they attended school together in southern California and started a band called Xero. Bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, singer Mark Wakefield, and DJ/art student Joseph Hahn later joined the group and decided on the name Linkin Park, the mispelled version of Lincoln Park. Chester Bennington also joined the group and shared vocals with Mike Shinoda. Likin Park released their debut album Hybrid Theory in the year 2000. where the songs In The End and Crawling were huge radio hits. In January 2002 recieved 3 grammy mominations and sold over 7 million copies. Their next album Meteora was released in March 2003. In this album the songs Numb, Somewhere I Beling and Breaking the Habit were great hits and scored simultaneously on the Billboard top 100. In 2005 Jay-Z idea of having a solo hip hop project to Mike Shinoda and Mike did with the dubbing project Fort Minor. In 2006 Linkin Park grouped up again to make their third album, which saw Shinoda sharing production credits with Rick Rubin and so Minutes to Midnight arrived. Being number one in many countries with the song What I've done. In the year 2010 the band teamed up again with Rick Rubin to work on the album A Thousand Suns.
